Hello Ladies, there is a monster that's sitting on your happiness and efforts to look great - "Weight Gain". Most of us are faced with this menace and we are struggling to permanently get rid of it. Especially for ladies 30years plus its extra hard getting rid of those extra fat around the abdomen, face, and around the arm. We all want to lose weight, look good but the journey to achieving this can be really exhausting and frustrating. For me, its always about personal comfort when it come to body size. Some are big and comfortable, but once I feel uncomfortable about my body I must do something abut it. The things is if you don't do anything abut it when you start putting on weight, it piles up and become uncontrollable. WHAT'S BEHIND THE SMILE???

There are days you wake up and its as if the whole world is fighting you. You feel so down and unhappy to the extent you have to fake a smile even at yourself. (sounds familiar right?) Life and the challenges it throws at us sometimes break us down so much that it take a lot to get out sometimes. Many people are walking about with fake smiles on their faces, with deep scares on their hearts, wounds to their souls. Most often you can actually see them struggling so much to fake a smile. I've been through it all. Someone recently sent me a message on Twitter saying it looks like things are going well for me because I appear to be happy and fulfilled. I laugh out loud when I read the tweet. Why did I laugh that Hard? The very day the person said that was one of my "bad days". I was not myself, I woke up angry and frustrated only to be complimented as being happy. "Irony". hahahah. The fact that am wearing makeup and "looking good" does not mean all is well with me. For me, image is everything. If its the last time someone is seeing me, I want to be remembered with good memories of me.

This photo was taken on my way to see the Doctor. I was not well but tried to look a little cheerful because am alive and not dead. If only people could see through our smile. Huumm, instead of smiling back they will rather cry for us. They would scream "so you are going through all these" lol. So many people are walking about looking "well",fabulous (makeup, clothes, accessories and everything on point). Be deceive not for its all a coverup. Take a look at the celebrities, they appear not to have any problems because of their outlook but most often they are going through hell. But inspite of all the numerous challenges in life, we have a choice to let the whole world know what we are going through or look at the brighter side of life and smile. What's precious than life? Many wish they have a fraction of what you have, many are lying on hospital beds sentenced to death by their doctors waiting to exhale their last breath in deep pains and you dare complain? Why must you be judge by your mood? why should people look at you and know exactly what you are going through? Are you the only one in the world with problems. (If problems were wares you could take to the market to sell, you will run out of the market when you see others with their problems) hahaha. In life everything that have a beginning definitely must end someday. Once you are making an effort to change that situation that is making you sad and moody it will definitely end one day. I recently found a safe heaven from my loneliness, problems, and all the hullabaloos of life, YOUTUBE. I get ask often why are you posting videos to you tube and all that stuff. YouTube is my "Heaven from boredom". Thank God for the internet people like me can smile freely without revealing the pains, loneliness, disappointments and all the things hiding behind our smiles You are reading this note and asking yourself, "What is she talking about" well am just saying what's on my mind and telling you to live life each day at a time and appreciate the special gift that you have (LIFE). GHANA'S 55TH INDEPENDENCE DAY

The 6th of March was Ghana's 55th Independence Day!. As part of the celebration I filmed a makeup video based on inspiration from the Ghana flag. Its not an everyday look but a fun look that can be worn to the beach, the poolside, the part or any place where a fun activity in commemoration of Ghana's Independence day celebration.
